Is using the electronic cigarette while on the birth control bad?


Question by Loves Penguins: Is using the electronic cigarette while on the birth control bad?
Yes I know it's bad to smoke real cigarettes but I use the electronic cigarette (never even smoked the real thing) am i still at risk?

Not all electronic cigarettes are nicotine free. Some are, some are not. So it all depends on what sort of electronic cigarette you have. If it does give you a level of nicotine, then yes you may be at risk.

I myself though take birth control and i smoke. Probably not a good idea but its been a year now and im fine. However, i'm 19 years old. Most people at risk who take birth control and smoke at the same time are 40 years and older. (this is what my birth control packet says)

On another note. There are also birth controls available for people who smoke, so that smoking does not affect the birth control in any way. You should go talk to your doctor!
